Art and Grade:  I have practiced Kendo, Iaido and Jodo over the year’s achieving grades in all three. I particularly enjoy Kata training. I also practice kenjutsu: Mizoguchi Ha Itto Ryu, Niten Ichi Ryu,Shinto Ryu and even a little Ona Ha Itto ryu on occasions.

Outside Budo:  In my spare time I am a school teacher: Design & Technology with ICT

A bit about me: I started my kendo training in 1980 and have been involved on and off (Mostly off) with the national squad on several occasions over the years. I have lost track of the numerous competitions and events that I have taken part in over the years (I have a draw full of medals and cups of all shapes and sizes).

More recently I have focussed mainly but not exclusively on refereeing and am currently the chair of the DRC.
