There were no championships in 2000 and 2001, but it came back  strong in 2002 with the largest showing ever and a different format


History and Results

The original competition was an individual championship for kendoka of 2nd Dan and below with a sempai competition student above 2nd dan and ex-graduates. This format changed in 2002.
