A bit about me: I am a former police trainer and now concentrate much of my time on running my Aikido Association in North Devon which has 250+ members. We have a permanent dojo which is used for aikido and iaido.
I am a Coach Tutor for the British Aikido Board, and also lecture and assess on sports coaching courses at the local college. I am a Director of a digital printing company and also run a small publishing company specialising in martial arts and fitness books.
I have run courses at national and international level for the past 30 years and began my study of martial arts in 1964 whilst in the Army.
I have been Events Officer for a nearly a year now and my aim is to streamline and improve the administration side of things by making more use of IT. One of my pet hates is queuing up so one of my key aims to keep this to an absolute minimum at BKA events.
