If you plan to grade it is recommended you attend the seminar, however it is not compulsory. Similarly you are welcome to attend the seminar even if you are not grading.
We are going to try something new for the format of a grading day – the shinza will start at 11 am on the Sunday. After a short break for menjo signing, lunch etc there will be formal feedback for all the examinees, followed by an hour’s keiko. If anyone has failed, they will be shown and told where they went wrong and will have priority of fencing the high grades. That way they can go away knowing what they have to improve on for their next attempt.
Those that have passed can burn their energy off before they all head home!
Should you need further information please contact: Martin Chambers martch@gmx.com or John kelso@mac.com
Registration for the grading should take place in the normal way, via the Grading Officer. For an application form and other relevant information, see the Grading Section in http://kendo.org.uk/resources/
