Open Invitation to Jodo & Iaido Practitioners: Tachiuchi/Tsumiai weekend
Budokan Dojo, Darlington. October 17th & 18th; 2009
Based upon the success of last year’s event – and a wish to promote Tachi and Tsumiai in the UK – Bill Davison [Godan] and Lee Mountain [Godan] have organised and are hosting another ‘Tachi’ weekend.
Peter West [Nanadan Renshi] and Anna Stone [Rokudan] are the high grades who have agreed to lead the training – supported by Bill and Lee.
Peter West has suggested that this year we should include Tsumiai no Kurai for those who attend and wish to learn this set……. essentially, the ‘seated set’ of Tachi Uchi no Kurai.

Although all those named [above] are MJER folks – be assured that MSR practitioners will be most welcome.
We know that your diaries are quite full at this time of year – but this will be a great learning/polishing weekend with enjoyment high on the list if priorities.
Absolute beginners are welcome; training will be structured to encompass and be appropriate to skills and knowledge.
Costs are projected at; 1 day -£20; both days – £30;
As ever – the more people there then the greater likelihood that costs can be diminished.
