Jodo & Iai: Level 2 Coaching Course
We will be launching the first new Level 2 Coaching Course on Saturday 19th September, starting at 10:00am and finishing at 5:00pm in Stevenage (venue to be confirmed).
This will be a prototype launch and so the first attendees will be asked for their patience and feedback so that the course can be appropriately modified. As such the course fee will be reduced to £15 per person.
This course has been so vastly changed to the original Coach Certificate Course that we would ask all existing coaches to attend it. For those who only have Level 1 we need to confirm the following restrictions:
- The attendees must be at least 2nd dan (and ideally 3rd dan or above)
- The attendees will have needed to have accumulated at least 26 hours of coaching within their dojo or at BKA events. This will need to be logged but can be done retrospectively.
- The attendees must be at least Level 1 Coach status (or Club Coach using the old system). Ideally they will have attended or observed a new Level 1 Coach Course (launched late 2007).
The Level 2 Course is a natural precursor to Regional Coach status and will be invaluable for those thinking of applying for their Shogo..
