Iaido on One & Other

David commented on the One  & Other site:  “When I was selected for plinth duty, I knew exactly what I was going to do up there. I practice a martial art called iaido, a Japanese sword art that takes up far too much of my time. It promotes physical activity, mental determination and spiritual wellbeing. I have been training a number of years now (but am very much still a beginner) and recently achieved my second dan black belt. This is a great opportunity to promote my martial art and have some training under pressure! I’m sure future gradings won’t be so frightening after this!”
