Jodo & Iai Generic Risk Assessment Form – Now Available

A blank, generic, risk assessment form for Iai and Jodo clubs has now been completed and is available for download and use by dojo leaders.  This compliments the Kendo form, which has been available for some time.

A generic Risk Assessment (GRA) is a specialised risk assessment that has been pre-prepared to remove repetition and save time.  Each Dojo leader will need to compare the situation at his/her dojo to identify any further hazards and the control measures that may need to be introduced.

The form can be found in the Resources section of this site, under Health and Safety.  The direct link to the form is here:  Generic Dojo Risk Assessment Form

Guidence on how to use the form can be found here and the BKA’s Health and Safety Officer (Donald Gordon) can be contacted for assistance on health.safety@kendo.org.uk
